Completion Certificate Policy

California DMV-Approved Online Traffic Violator School

The California Department of Motor Vehicles requires all online traffic violator schools to process course completion certificates within three (3) court business days.

Same-Day Electronic Submission

If you complete your course Monday–Friday before 2:00 PM (Pacific Time), your completion certificate will be electronically submitted to your court on the same day.

If you finish after 2:00 PM, your certificate will be submitted the next business day.

Weekend Processing

Certificates are not processed on Saturdays or Sundays. Courses completed on the weekend will be processed the next business day (Monday).

How Certificates Are Delivered

All completion certificates are submitted electronically from iDrive EZ directly to your court. Courts will not accept student copies, printouts, screenshots, or emailed PDFs. Only the official DMV-approved electronic submission is valid.

Accuracy of Student Information

Your certificate is generated using the personal information you provide during registration. iDrive EZ is not responsible for delays or corrections resulting from incorrect or incomplete information submitted by the student.

No Exceptions to DMV or Court Requirements

iDrive EZ must follow all DMV and court requirements regarding where and how your certificate is submitted. These rules cannot be changed or bypassed.
