This also applies to non-point count violations, which are not used to determine negligent operator by DMV. If you have attended another traffic school within eighteen months, DMV will not hold your attendance on this citation confidential.
Your traffic citation may be continued for ninety (90) days from date of payment to allow attendance and completion of the Traffic School Program.

How to Request Traffic School in El Dorado:
- If you are eligible to attend Traffic School and wish to do so you must first request to attend Traffic School. You can make this request online, by mail, Clerk’s office, or in court.
- Pay a non-refundable Traffic School Administration Fee of $69.00, plus the amount of bail indicated on your courtesy notice.
- If paying by check or money order, make your check payable to “ El Dorado Superior Court” and include your citation or case number on your payment.
- Enroll with iDrive EZ Traffic School within two weeks, pay the enrollment fee and register for the class.
- Successfully complete the course of instruction.
- iDrive EZ Traffic School will complete the “Certificate of Completion”
- When you have completed the course, we will issue you a receipt and electronically file the Certificate of Completion to the court.
- Allow at least 7-10 days for the Court and DMV to process your completion certificate.
