You can mail a check (made out to Los Angeles Superior Court) either by using the payment coupon attached with the courtesy notice or send a check with the balance due to the courthouse listed on your ticket. Write the citation and LEA number on your check. Standard fees apply if your check is returned.
You may pay your ticket at any Traffic Courthouse. Customers are encouraged to Schedule an Appointment with the Clerk’s Office, in advance, to avoid waiting in line.

Please Note: Los Angeles County Superior Court is currently experiencing technical issues that may affect the processing of traffic school eligibility for individuals whose driver’s licenses expire in 2030. If you believe you are eligible for traffic school, and your driver’s license expires in 2030, please contact the Los Angeles County Traffic Call Center at 213-633-6300 or visit any Traffic Courthouse in the county for assistance.
You will have 60 days to complete traffic school.
Failure to submit proof of completion by the due date will result in your bail being forfeited, the violation being reported to DMV as a conviction, and a point count on your driving record.
