The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) recognizes the right of private enterprises to advertise and distribute information related to their business functions. DMV promotes the free exchange of information except when content may invade personal privacy, violate property rights, constitute libel, or violate any federal, state, or local law.

While the educational content for this course may have been approved by DMV, the distribution, advertising, and other information provided by this vendor is not guaranteed by DMV, nor does it represent DMV’s views.

DMV has no ongoing obligation to provide updated information to this website. DMV assumes no responsibility for erroneous, incomplete, or outdated information. Users should verify course information directly with the provider and/or the DMV.

1A. DMV-Required Notices

(B) This course is not a substitute for a licensed driving school. It does not prepare students for a driver license. It is solely approved for the California Traffic Violator School (TVS) Program. Completion documentation is not issued to users who are not eligible for TVS.

(C) Traffic Violations Not Eligible for Masking (VC §1808.7)
Masking is not permitted if:

  • You attended traffic school within the past 18 months.
  • You hold a commercial driver license (CDL), even if driving a non-commercial vehicle.
  • You hold an out-of-state CDL.
  • The violation occurred in a commercial motor vehicle.
  • You have not paid bail/fees or have not resolved the citation with the court.
  • The violation carries 2 points (e.g., reckless driving, DUI-related suspensions, speed over 100 mph).

(D) Required Information
To enroll and receive a completion submission, you must provide:

  • California driver license or ID number, or birthdate if none
  • Court docket/citation number
  • Court name or court code

If you do not provide complete and accurate information, your course completion cannot be submitted to the DMV or court.

2. Agreement Between User & iDrive EZ Traffic School

These Terms govern your use of idriveez.com, operated by Lilac Fig LLC, DBA iDrive EZ Traffic School (“Company”).

By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms without modification.

3. Course Purpose

iDrive EZ Traffic School is a California DMV-Approved Online Traffic Violator School, designed to:

  • Promote safer driving habits
  • Allow eligible drivers to dismiss qualifying traffic citations
  • Prevent points from appearing on driving records
  • Support lower insurance premiums
  • Reinforce knowledge of California traffic laws

Completion is not guaranteed to result in ticket dismissal; final decisions rest solely with the court.

4. Course Requirements

To receive a completion certificate and DMV submission, students must:

  • Complete all course lessons and modules
  • Pass the final exam
  • Meet all DMV and court eligibility criteria
  • Provide accurate personal and court information

iDrive EZ is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect data entered by the user.

5. Electronic Communications

By using this site, you consent to receive:

  • Emails
  • Notices
  • Disclosures
  • Electronic records

Electronic communications satisfy all legal requirements for “written” communication.

6. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • Preventing unauthorized access
  • All activities occurring under your account

iDrive EZ may suspend, refuse, or terminate any account at its discretion.

8. Children Under 18

iDrive EZ does not knowingly collect information from users under age 13.
Minors under 18 may not be eligible for traffic school depending on court requirements. Users under 18 should verify eligibility with the court before enrolling.

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 14 days of registration if:

  • The course has not been completed
  • No completion certificate has been submitted to the DMV or court

If a student fails the final exam, one retake is provided at no additional cost.

10. Links to Third-Party Sites

This site may contain links to third-party websites. iDrive EZ is not responsible for:

  • Content
  • Accuracy
  • Updates
  • Privacy practices

Links are provided solely for user convenience.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the site—including text, images, graphics, logos, software, and course materials—is the property of iDrive EZ or licensed partners.

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Modify
  • Distribute
  • Reverse-engineer
  • Resell
  • Create derivative works

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

12. International Users

13. Indemnification

14. Arbitration Agreement

All disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act, conducted by a neutral arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

  • No jury trials
  • No class actions
  • No representative actions

You and iDrive EZ agree to resolve disputes individually.

This clause survives termination of services.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

iDrive EZ is not liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damages
  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits
  • Service interruptions
  • Errors or omissions
  • Delays in DMV or court processing
  • User-submitted errors

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the site.

16. Termination

iDrive EZ may terminate access to any user at any time, for any reason, without notice.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and iDrive EZ Traffic School and supersede all prior communications.

18. Changes to Terms

iDrive EZ may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
